what our clients say

"I started working with Lisa because I wanted relief from some physical symptoms I was having related to stress and anxiety. I was blushing uncontrollably in social and work situations, and the embarrassment from that was causing worry and digestive issues, and it just became a cycle that I could not snap out of. I had tried years of talk therapy, different diets, supplements, drinking more water, medication, exercise, meditation, yoga, lowering my stress.....nothing was working! Lisa's approach was exactly what I needed as a busy person and Mom, I needed someone to just tell me what specifically to do that would help my unique situation. She listened to me, asked me questions (she's also beautifully trauma-informed y'all!), and put together a "prescription" of movement and breathwork that seamlessly fit into my day. Following her "prescription" regulated my nervous system, and it was unique to me, so slowly I have noticed my stress level decrease, my blushing issue is much better, and my cycling worries are not affecting my stomach. If I feel extra stress piling on, I know to go back to my trusty movement and breathwork routine she made for me and I can get back on track that way. Lisa's work is amazing and integrates all the important stuff we need to regulate our bodies, minds, and everything in between. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for relief from mental or physical stress or pain. Thank you, Lisa!" -MB

“Yoga Therapy with Lisa is transformational.  After several years of dealing with an intense and chaotic situation with no end in sight, I did not feel like myself, and yet I also do not want to back away from this situation nor the people I love involved in it.  After a couple of weeks of practicing, I began to feel a glimmer of my usual, more relaxed and optimistic self.  Although the situation will continue indefinitely, Lisa helped me find my center again so I can live more happily and fully, even when things are hard.  Lisa's intuition, knowledge and deep listening are a magical combination.  Like any inner work, it is just that, and requires practice and discipline. Lisa is a trusted resource, guide and steadying force working alongside me providing invaluable practical tools and helpful insights.  There are moments in my practice when the shift is palpable, and so very appreciated!” -M
